How to Find a Life of Purpose | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_021

I’ve often heard people describe the meaning of life as two purposes that reside at the opposite ends of the ideological spectrum. Many people have said that the meaning of life is struggle, including Jordan Peterson, someone with one of the largest followings on YouTube at the current time. I have heard other people state that the meaning of life is to find happiness. In my opinion, the meaning of life is neither of these choices. The meaning of life is to find a life of meaning. This process will involve both periods of happiness and struggle, but the finding a purpose to life brings a greater feeling of serenity to your times of happiness and makes your times of struggle more bearable. In the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_021, I discuss the various ways we can all find purpose in our life. One way to find purpose is to form a deep sense of community with others and then work towards achieving common goals. But to form a community with others that can give one’s life a strong sensse of purpose, one must utilize critical thinking and pursue self-education.

As well we must have a society of ethical people if we are to encourage people to find a live of purpose within society instead of going off grid as many people that want to live ethical lives have done because they feel it is impossible to live an ethical life within society. In the last podcast I spoke about how immorality and a lack of ethics is being praised, promoted and embraced within society at large, a disturbing trend of modern day life today. In this podcast, I also address how we can perform our civic duty to reverse this trend and create more ethical societies that provide a life of dignity for its members. So join me in this week’s tao of skwealthacademy podcast for a fascinating discussion about finding meaning in our lives.

The Things the Happiest Societies Would Find Abnormal About Modern Life | the tao of skwealthacademy, episode_020

In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_20, titled, “The Things the Happiest Societies Would Find Abnormal About Modern Life,” I discuss why we have migrated away from many of the elements of hunter-gatherer societies that used to bring humanity great levels of sustainable happiness and why many of us have chosen a lifestyle with almost no sense of community and a heightened sense of isolation from our neighbors in overcrowded urban settings. Forgive the opening of the podcast that states this is Episode_018, as that is an error. This is Episode_020. This podcast could also be titled, “How a return to hunter gatherer society rules would solve modern society’s overfed, malnourished, lack of exercise, sleep deprived, low self-esteem, high anxiety and depressed, inequitable wealth, loneliness, and unhappiness problems.” I believe that this is one of the most important podcasts I have produced in the past year, and as such, it is also one of the longest, clocking in at well over an hour long, so grab a tall cup of coffee and settle in. Furthermore, for all of my friends that have young children, I made this podcast for you as well, as in modern society, we have migrated away from many of the child-rearing practices of hunter-gatherer societies that provided a sense of security and mental well-being to infants. I believe that the goals of social conditioning and production of an obedient labor force that go hand and hand with compulsory schooling today is largely responsible for the loss of community that is directly correlated to happiness among human beings today, as the stronger our acquiescence to authoritative State powers becomes, the greater our loss of community grows. However, this is a topic likely best suited for a series of podcasts about the necessity for the complete overhaul of the schooling system, and I will address this topic in much more detail in future The Tao of SKWealthAcademy podcasts, so please subscribe to our podcast if interested in this topic as well.

Within the body of this audio podcast, I use examples of both American Indian societies in pre-colonial and colonial America as well as examples of contemporary hunter-gatherer societies to explore the rules and characteristics of their societies that once led a French colonialist living in the new America to conclude, “there must be in their social bond something singularly captivating and far superior to anything to be boasted among us.” It is not necessary for any of us to give up the qualities that existed in their social structure that create lasting and sustainable happiness, and even for those of us that live in urbanized environments, we can still adequately re-create many of these qualities in our lives if we so desire. With that said, I don’t want this article to merely restate everything I discuss in the below podcast, so I will just provide a brief taste of the podcast, and for the sake of avoiding redundancy, allow any one interested in listening to a more in-depth discussion of this topic to merely listen to the audio podcast in full.

Indians ran their communities more like a constitutional republic than American colonial settlers ever did, even after the piece of paper was drafted that made America a constitutional republic. Throughout America’s history, practice never quite lived up to the law of being a constitutional republic. American Indian tribes were much more egalitarian in the distribution of power and authority than any American colony, although tribes had a chief and medicine man who were men in elevated positions of power within their patriarchal society. Still, women were not without power in their tribes. Within the societal hierarchy of most American Indian tribes, women held some type of authoritative power that served as a check on the male leadership of that tribe. For example, in the Iroquis nation, only women could nominate men for positions of leadership and even positions of speaking in the Tribal Council and only women could vote these men out of these positions. Within the Cherokee nation, in her book Cherokee Women in Crisis; Trail of Tears, Civil War, and Allotment, 1838-1907, author Carolyn Johnston wrote, “Women had autonomy and sexual freedom, could obtain divorce easily, rarely experienced rape or domestic violence, worked as producers/farmers, owned their own homes and fields, possessed a cosmology that contains female supernatural figures, and had significant political and economic power. Cherokee women’s close association with nature, as mothers and producers, served as a basis of their power within the tribe, not as a basis of oppression. Their position as ‘the other’ led to gender equivalence, not hierarchy.”

Secondly within American Indian nations, individual authority was earned, not seized and certainly not awarded by wealth, a facet of life extremely different than today’s modern societies. Wealth was fairly egalitarian throughout the tribe because tribes were nomadic and one could only own whatever one could carry on horse or on foot so we didn’t have the types of inequality that exist today in which the 8 wealthiest people in the world in 2018 literally owned the same wealth as 3.8 billion people (Source: Oxfam). This type of wealth inequality, impossible among hunter-gatherer societies, translates into the 8 wealthiest people literally have 475 million times more wealth than each of those 3.8 billion people. This inequity of wealth was impossible in tribal communities as a member of the tribe was incapable of lugging around possessions that were worth 10 times more than his fellow tribesman or tribeswoman, let alone possessions worth 100 times, 1,000 times, a million times, or 475 million times more.

Today, the ability of individuals to gather many more material things than their fellow man and woman has increased independence and decreased reliance on the community for survival and enables us to live in greater and greater isolation with almost no reliance upon even our immediate neighbors for survival. However, our greater isolation in life has also resulted in an explosion of psychological problems among urban dwellers with elevated levels of anxiety and depression even despite greater comforts and less physical suffering and struggle on a daily basis. Today people in wealthy countries suffer depression at 8 times the rate as do people living in poor countries. Also across the board in studies in several nations, women that live in rural areas suffer much lower rates of depression than women that live in urban areas with the highest rates of depression in America existing among the most affluent urban women.

In areas poorer rural communities, community members depend on one another for survival at a far greater rate than members of wealthy communities and tend to share resources much more frequently which also forms a strong psychological bond with other community members that is important to happiness. Unfortunately in modern life today, greater rates of anxiety and depression has led to greater rates of self-medication and self-numbing with opiods, and there has been an explosion of opiod use in the form of oxycontin and fentanyl, which can be 5 to 100 times more potent than heroin.

In addition, positions of authority in hunter-gather societies were not passed on generationally but had to be earned again in new generations. Consequently, every member of these tribes had a chance to earn a position of higher ranking and power within a tribe, on a respect, not wealth-based system. Since there were never any huge disparities of wealth among individual tribe members, every person in every generation had the ability to rise to a position of authority, respect and wealth as all of these positions had to be earned and not just taken or seized or granted by lineage as is the case with royalty. There is no doubt that American Indians from back in the day would find our entire political process abnormal and unjust in which positions of authority never have to be earned through past acts of courage that demonstrated a level of self sacrifice to benefit all members of the community. They undoubtedly would be confused as to how money could buy positions of power and how advertising and propaganda could be used to influence winning votes of leadership positions.

When the white man arrived in America and there was flow between the different societies of the British and French and the Indians, the flow was almost completely one way. The flow of human migration was almost always from British and French colonies to the Indian tribes and never the other way around. And even when white men and women were found living among Indians and brought back to white civilization they rarely stayed in their supposedly more modern societies. Instead, they fled back to living in the tribal structure of Ameircan Indians. A French immigrant named Hector de Crevecoeur stated “there must be in their social bond something singularly captivating and far superior to anything to be boasted among us.” However, it’s not like things were idyllic in American Indian life. Tribes often warred with one another and killed each other in horrific ways so it’s not like a life of paradise was responsible for the one-way migration between American Indian and colonial societies. Life was also not easy at times within Indian hunter-gatherer life as it was a nomadic lifestyle that often followed migratory paths of a major food source like the buffalo and depended upon gathering of other vegetables, berries and nuts and daily farming for supplemental food. However, the need to contribute in some way to the lifeline of the group in helping to provide food helped everyone feel needed and the egalitarian nature of tribal life both in power and in wealth led to far greater levels of happiness among both British and French men and women that abandoned their colonial lives to live among the Indians.

Furthermore, there was a connectedness to nature among Indian tribal life that has been completely lost today in which even walking barefoot in the grass and dirt and gathering plants to eat in the forest gave man an important sense of connectedness to mother earth that brought a certain level of life satisfaction. Even the ability to gaze at the infinite realm of the universe above and gaze in wonder at the Milky Way and millions of stars has been lost in modern urban life today due to ambient light at night in cities that makes it impossible to feel connected to the universe.

However, I believe that the number one quality that gave tribal members of hunter-gatherer societies an elevated sense of happiness and life satisfaction was the enforcement of an extremely high level of ethics within tribal nations. Cowardice and murder were often punishable by death, with concurrent high levels of loyalty to the tribe due to the enforcement of basic freedoms for all that lived within tribal communities. Today, cowardice and fraud are often rewarded, and if not rewarded, at a minimum tolerated. The type of cowardice and fraud systemically practiced by the banking industry, for example, would have resulted in violent endings for their perpetrators in any hunter-gatherer society because such fraud would have endangered the future of all members of the tribe. Because we have lost our sense of community and connectedness today, society awards fraudsters and crooks like Jordan Belfort, the infamous Wolf of Wall Street by heaping praise and frame upon him, and for not holding his feet to the fire in promises to reimburse all the people he defrauded. In fact, in London recently, the attending crowd, many of whom had spent hundreds of dollars to hear Belfort speak, many in the crowd of 3.600 people boo’d a journalist that had asked Belfort why he had not paid back his victims more than just a few million dollars out of the $200M he stole from them after promising to pay back at least $100M.

Thus, a man that joyfully admits his fortune came from ripping people off speaks about integrity in business and is boo’d by those in attendance when a journalist reveals he has zero integrity. This is the kind of twisted world in which we live. Furthermore, modern society has made it very easy for those that do very bad things to remain anonymous. Besides Jordan Belfort and Bernie Sanders, and possibly Daniel Plunkett for those that follow banker criminal news very closely, how many names of bankers can you name out of the hundreds that were involved in rigging Forex rates, libor rates, utility rates, creating fraudulent CDOs, opening bank accounts for customers without their knowledge to charge them fraudulent fees, rigging gold and silver prices and on an on? Probably zero, right? However, within hunter-gatherer societies, any significant fraud committed by a tribal member was not only immediately known by all members of the tribe, but it was immediately punished either through ostracization from the tribe, which was a death sentence, or actual execution. Thus, the level of ethics and accountability for unethical actions largely absent in the segment of society that has the most wealth and power has truly led to not only a decreased level of well-being amongst greater society but also a vastly decreased level of happiness.

Why Every Parent Should Enroll His or Her Child in Martial Arts | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_019

In today’s the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_019, I revisit a topic that seemed to be immensely popular in the past, The Lessons I Learned From Martial Arts That I Still Use Today. I discuss the myths about martial arts embraced by non martial-artists that, for example, people use martial arts to bully others, which is against the entire creed and ethos of martial arts. Instead I return to the principles that constitute the essence of martial arts – discipline, respect, honor, courage, and humility – and how these principles have helped me cope and conquer periods of struggle throughout my life. Furthermore, I explain my theory about why I believe that very parent with a young child should enroll their child in a marital arts class because of the invaluable life lessons that will be instilled in a child at a young age from martial arts training, including helping to mold an ethical, moral and courageous young adult. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this podcast as much as others have enjoyed my previous podcasts on this same subject.

Russia v. the United States: Facts v. Propaganda | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_018

In today’s the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_018, I discuss why all wars are bankers’ wars and why even the conflict between the US and Russia in Syria is a banker war, as I believe that it is a war ultimately to control the flow of natural gas through Syria, either from Russia to Europe or from the Middle East to Europe. Consequently, episode_018 is titled, “Russia v. the United States: Facts v. Propaganda. If the US successfully ousts the current Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, they can control the flow of energy resources from the Middle East to Europe and dictate that oil and natural gas from the Middle East is sold and bought in US dollars. If Russia succeeds in rebuffing the US attempt to overthrow Assad, then Russia would control the flow of natural gas through Syria and dictate that these resources could be sold in their sovereign ruble currency, which would serve as a huge blow against the continued subjugation of the entire world economy to US dollar supremacy.

Although this reason, which I believe to be one of the primary reasons behind the Syrian conflict is little discussed in the Western mainstream media, it comes as no surprise that various Arab and Middle Eastern publications have all dismissed such theories as “conspiracy theories”, claiming that there is zero evidence to corroborate these theories. As I have always been someone that promotes evidence above all, I wondered if these assertions were correct, so I investigated them further and did not merely dismiss them as propaganda just because the assertions fit into a narrative that serves nations like Qatar and Saudi Arabia and not my beliefs about the conflict. I wanted to discover, however, if these assertions of conspiracy theories were indeed massive propaganda as well.

So let’s look at some facts that are indisputable first and draw conclusions from these facts. Number one, more than half of all of Russia’s national revenues comes from oil and natural gas sales. Fact. Bankers manipulate prices of oil, natural gas, and other commodities through global futures markets. Fact. If bankers force prices of oil and natural gas lower, this will severely hurt the Russian economy. Fact. The US government colludes with bankers to take down oil and natural gas prices to hurt the Russian economy. Theory. In this case, we have a bunch of facts and then one theory that can’t be proven as a fact but then will often be dismissed as a conspiracy theory just because there is no hard evidence to support the theory by those that want to shape a certain narrative in the global media. It is just as ridiculous to label this theory as a conspiracy theory solely because there is no evidence to support it as it would be to call the Big Bang Theory about the formation of the universe a conspiracy theory just because there is also a lack of concrete evidence to support this theory as well.

Rather the theories should be more accurately described as unknowns and not conspiracy theory from someone capable of critical thought. The same applies to the pipeline theories when I investigated them as well. It is a fact that multiple pipelines for natural gas and oil have been proposed that would cut through Syria and that the different proposed pipelines would provide control of Europe’s energy supplies to different factions – one to Russia, and the other to Middle Eastern nations. It is also a fact that the control of these pipelines would have massive consequences upon the US dollar depending upon which pipeline was eventually built and that if Russia wins out, then it can vastly decrease the dependence of its economy upon the US dollar. It is also a fact that the US government has funded and armed ISIL terrorists within Syria to overthrow Assad. But this is where the facts stop and the rest becomes theory. The conclusions for why the US wants to overthrow Assad are theory. However it is a fact that in July 2011, the governments of Syria, Iran and Iraq signed a $10 billion agreement to build a natural gas pipeline that would run from Iran through Iraq and Syria to Europe. That project was largely halted by the ongoing war in Syria.

This project was opposed by Qatar that wanted to build a natural gas pipeline from Syria to Turkey to Europe. This is a fact as well. But the dispute revolves around the timing and the alleged rejection of this proposal. As far as I could find, the only source for the claim that President Assad rejected a Qatari proposal to build a alternate natural gas pipeline was an “unnamed European diplomat.” So given that this is the source, I always reject any unnamed anonymous official sources as evidence. But just because there is no evidence does not mean that the theory of Syria as being a conflict to control natural gas distribution and also to maintain global US dollar supremacy, and therefore making the was ultimately a banker war, should be labeled a conspiracy as many prominent Middle Eastern news agencies have done. It merely means the truth about this theory remains unknown thought the answer to the unknown seems to be simple. I’m not sure why a journalist can’t simply ask Syrian President Assad did you directly reject a Qatari proposal for a natural gas pipeline, and if he answers yes, then the theory can be proven to be true. Whether some journalist has already asked this question and the answer has been suppressed from mainstream media, I don’t know.

In any event, what has always been evident in the mainstream reporting about military conflicts is that much of what is reported is propaganda, with theories unjustly labeled as conspiracy theories to discredit them while they may or may not be true and should merely be reported as unknowns. Thus, when I discovered that the validity about theories are best described as unknowns but have been described as conspiracy theories by media sites, I immediately dismissed such media sites as sources of credible news because the conclusions of conspiracy theories were incredibly self-serving and biased and thereby not trustworthy. Through this lens, in episode 18, I explore the facts surrounding the escalating animosity between Russia and the United States, including US President’s very important repudiation of the 1987 Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, and the implications of his withdrawal from this treaty on future relations between the US and Russia. I further reveal what is propaganda in regard to this subject, as there is unsurprisingly boatloads of propaganda surrounding this subject being reported by mainstream media as fact, and I attempt to separate propaganda from fact and allow you, the listener, to form your own conclusions.

Fight Club, Updated for 2018 | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast_Episode17

In today’s “the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_17 | Fight Club, Reinterpreted for 2018”, I discuss why the most iconic phrases from the seminal 1999 film, Fight Club, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, are still not only relevant nearly two decades later, but even more relevant in 2018 due to how the introduction of the iPhone in 2007 and the subsequent introduction of facebook, twitter, snapchat and instagram in following years have changed the way we interact with one another.

I will discuss the iconic quotes below, and the reasons why these quotes possess a heightened sense of relevance in today’s world which has been driven to record levels of anxiety, depression, suicide and mental disorders by virtual worlds of disconnectedness. More importantly, I will discuss in today’s skwealthacademy podcast, solutions to combat smartphone addictions and how we can return to forming a sense of community with those that live in our neighborhoods.

Quotes from Fight Club’s Tyler Durden

“The things you own end up owning you.”

“It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.”

“If you don’t know what you want, you end up with a lot you don’t.”

“Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need.”

“We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place, no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.”

“We buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like.”

I truly believe that society’s increased devotion to social media and smartphone interactions as an increasing percentage of daily life has unfortunately but deliberately elevated the level of superficiality in our lives and stripped away a sense of purpose and community from the lives of both young and old. Designers of social media have implemented in their distribution platforms psychological addiction to their apps as one of their primary goals. To combat these insidious directives, I discuss rules we can implement in our lives to ensure that we rule our smartphones and that our smartphones do not rule us.

Perception Rules Everything Around Us | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast_Episode16

To begin, I apologize for the audio quality of this episode, but I have fixed the audio problem in the next episode.

In Episode 16, I discuss how disconnected we have become from reality and how perception has come to rule everything around us. I cover the fascinating topics of the billionaire Malaysian fraudster Jho Low, who allegedly conned everyone from filmmaker Martin Scorcese, Australian model Miranda Kerr , White House officials, Goldman Sachs bankers, and even the Malaysian prime minister by gaining access to Malaysia’s sovereign wealth funds and misappropriating billions of dollars for personal use. Currently Low is suspected to be hiding out in mainland China, whith Chinese officials reluctant to extradite him back to Malaysia because of Low’s close relationships to very high level Chinese officials that could expose the Chinese officials to scandal should Low be extradited back to Malaysia and be forced to testify in court. In any event, many have claimed, including the author of the Jho Low’s biography, Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, Hollywood and the World, that Jho Low, who was the son of a millionaire, was only able to trick people into believing he was a billionaire by living a lavish lifestyle funded by a US$5B theft from the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund after crafting a close relationship with the Malaysian Prime Minister. During this ride of well-documented public excess, Low gifted $9M worth of jewels to Australian model Miranda Kerr, who eventually was forced to return her ill-gotten trove of jewels,

At one point, Jho Low spent $700M he had funneled from the 1MDB sovereign Malaysian wealth fund into one of his own companies in just 8 months, buying a hotel in Los Angeles and the rest on a lavish lifestyle of alcohol, gambling, private jets and yachts, and paying celebrities to hang out with him. Low eventually diverted billions more to his own accounts which he spent on producing The Wolf of Wall Street and buying real estate, art work, hedge funds and luxury apartments. Jho Low’s spending spree seems to have been enabled by his close association to rich and powerful people around the world forged during his time at Wharton business school that included members of Middle Eastern royalty.

It’s always been odd to me why friendships with rich and powerful people automatically grant legitimacy to someone in the eyes of the public as if an association with a billionaire means that someone has integrity and honesty. In any event, Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos used the same modus operandus as Jho Low to con investors out of $700M in convincing investors she had developed a ground breaking technology that could use droplets of blood to supply full bloodwork and labwork to diagnose medical conditions. As it turned out, her entire company was fraudulent but Holmes was able to get many people to blindly trust her simply based upon her close friendship with Paypal founder and one of the original investors in Facebook, billionaire Peter Thiel.

Lastly, I discuss how perception is much more important than reality in keeping bubbles in stock markets, real estate markets and bond markets inflated and that is why these bubbles will crash particularly savagely when they deflate, as they have no fundamental foundation to keep them afloat.

Are We Living in a Metaphorical Computer Simulation? | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast_Episode 15

In Episode 15, I discuss whether we are living in a computer simulation, not in a literal sense, but in a metaphorical sense as the virtual worlds of social media infringes more and more upon the lives of teenagers in drawing them away from the real physical world and into life within a virtual world.

Are We Truly Free? | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Epi_014

In Episode 14, I discuss whether living an entire life within pre-constructed societal constructs that not only constrict our choices in life but also severely limit our creative potential and our ability to manifest our greatest selves in life is truly living life as a free human being.  If you lived in a tiny island nation state that represented the middle of the pack in everything – technology, human rights, economics, resources, and education – and were told that you could roam anywhere you wanted to within a 10km region of the island but never anywhere else and also never leave this nation to explore the other 192 nations on planet earth, would you feel free? Yet, this is a perfect analogy for how most of us lives our lives when we voluntarily choose to constrict our choices in education and in career from age 5-years-old to age 65-years-old.

Improve Your Life Immediately By Eliminating this One Huge Time and Energy Waster | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Epi_013

Today, in Episode 13 of the Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, I discuss the one massive time and energy waster in which nearly all of us engage on a daily basis. Simply eliminating  or vastly reducing this aspect from our lives is the easiest way to free up time so that we may reach our life potential and maximize our happiness. As odd as this sounds, sustainable happiness in life requires discipline to achieve.

The most time and energy wasting task is not only a time waster, but it also stunts our intellectual growth, our creative development, and our sense of community with others, an aspect of life that is essential to avoid depression. So eliminating this one huge time waster not only will increase our productivity, but it will also massively improve our happiness and life while eliminating large portions of anxiety and depression.

The 3 Elements to Live a Fearless, Valuable Life | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Epi_012

Today, in Episode 12 of the Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, I discuss the 3 elements necessary to live a fearless, valuable life – community, self-education, and love. I elaborate on why those in power economically and politically in all nations are so intent on ensuring that these 3 elements are missing from all of our lives, the tactics deployed by them to ensure their absence in our lives, and the steps we can take to ensure that we embrace these elements and live a unique life distinct from the rest of society.

I cover (1) the distinctions between schooling and education, (2) the reasons why no one should ever become a parent without these three elements, and (3) the reasons why these 3 elements alone are not enough to produce a memorable life full of a state of flow and harmony, but require a deeply understood and conceived moral framework to accompany them.

How Orwellian Doublespeak Will Cause People to be Blindsided by the Second Global Financial Crisis | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Epi_11

Today, I discuss how the mainstream media proliferation of Orwellian doublespeak has confused people into misunderstanding simple concepts like constitutional republics v. democracies, socialism v. capitalism, capitalism v. communism, free market capitalism v. socialism for oligarchs, growth v. bubbles, and so on. It is this misunderstanding of basic concepts that will cause many to be blindsided when when the Bubble of Everything collapses at some point between now and 2020.

The Last Real Estate Market Bubble In Asia | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Epi_010

Today, I discuss what is the last real estate market bubble in Asia, the factors that have fueled this bubble, and the factors that will pop it. In addition, I begin the podcast with a quick, fun astronomy lesson in honor of the recent aphelion on 6 July, when the earth’s orbit placed it the furthest distance from the sun at approximately 94.5 million miles away. And lastly I conclude today’s podcast with a brief discussion of the real weapons that will deployed next in these increasingly dangerous currency wars – cyberweapons.

Why I’m Leaving YouTube for Steemit and Patreon | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_009

Today, I discuss my reasons for leaving youtube for the greener pastures of steemit and patreon (www.patreon.com/skwealthacademy) and leave you with a long philosophical discussion that covers many topics including bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, banking, morality, the importance of pursuing careers that don’t exploit others but that only uplift humanity, the global refugee crisis, the policies of the State that are used to divide us and to dissolve our unity, and the hidden agenda of academia that destroys critical thinking. Enjoy and please consider becoming a patron to receive exclusive content in the form of podcasts and articles every month! The first exclusive content, released on 25 June, are a lengthy article that discusses many potential reasons why bitcoin’s price has plunged 70% in the past 6-months and that should provide an intelligent foundation to speculate on future price, and a podcast that reveals 2 questions one can ask anyone to reveal the massive faults of institutional academics today, including its misguided focus on memorization of facts and high exam scores. Just visit the link above and become a patron for access to this content. I will be posting a new podcast and article every month, available only to patrons. Thanks for listening and have a blessed day!

The Great Deception & Plato’s Cave | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_007

In Episode 7, I discuss how the story of Plato’s Cave and Siddhartha apply to today’s world more than ever and that the inability to distinguish between perception and reality is a deliberately manufactured affliction designed by the world’s wealthy. I further discuss the fact that it will truly be difficult for one to understand the unfolding financial market crashes in 2018-2019 without truly understanding the lessons of Plato’s Cave.

Think and Understand Truth | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_006

In Episode 6, I discuss how those in control of creating the financial, religious, academic and career paradigms that exist in modern society encourage us not to think through distracting us through mindless entertainment and social media options, but if we can sort through all the distractions, the truth will set us free. I address how this topic is relevant across a broad spectrum of topics, including cryptocurrencies and bitcoin, the exploitation of human trafficking networks and the disposable fashion industry, the systemic sexual harassment problem of the global entertainment industry, the NFL protests and Colin Kapaernick, and even issues of parenting.

Bitcoin is a Trojan Horse: The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast Episode_003, Part 2/4

Part 2 of of a multi-part series of the very real and serious potential for bitcoin to be a massive Central Banking/ government Trojan Horse to convince the entire world to embrace further currency enslavement through a 100% trackable cryptocurrency and to usher in a cashless, 100% digital currency world, please refer to the podcast episode download and access links below. Though I state in Part 1 that I believe bitcoin is a currency, as of the end of 2017/ start of 2018, it is much too volatile to even act as a currency, because price stability is necessary for any long-term currency. Consequently, at this stage, it is a purely speculative asset and cannot serve as a currency until price stability solidifies. Had I recorded this episode with the express purpose of producing a viral episode, I would have merely repeated my support for current blindly accepted mainstream narratives, such as the one that bitcoin is a decentralized, disruptive technology that is anti-banking. However, my focus in this series is to intelligently discuss the real problems of bitcoin’s unknown origins and the many problems with the mass media narratives that have been built and disseminated to not only cover up these unknowns but also to falsely turn these unknowns into knowns. Hopefully, I will fulfill these objectives regarding this very important subject matter, as our freedom depends on recognizing the truth when it comes to digital currencies. Enjoy!

Why the Royal House of Saud and The New BRICS Alliance Will Be Gold Bullish in 2018: The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast Episode_004

Today, in the Tao of SkWealthAcademy Podcast Episode_004, I connect the dots among a mountain of seemingly disconnected events: the boycotts of the Beijing OBOR (One Belt One Road) conference last May, the current price suppression of gold and silver, the current price mania in Bitcoin, the purging of the Royal House of Saud in Saudi Arabia, the shifting BRICS alliance where Saudi Arabia may become the new “S” and Iran may become the new “I”, the introduction of petroyuan and petroruble futures, and tentative new economic alliances between historical enemies like Saudi Arabia and Iran and its consequent impact upon current Middle Eastern wars in Syria and Yemen. Finally, I tie everything together regarding why these events are setting up gold and silver for a very bullish 2018 and a simultaneous fall in US stock markets, despite a current precious metals correction that has likely not yet seen its bottom and a current rise in US stock markets that has lasted all of 2017.

How to Cure Boredom and Loneliness: The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_002

In a world increasingly lived virtually in social media words with zero face to face interaction, loneliness, boredom, anxiety and depression are exploding in incidence among teenagers and young adults. Not only technology advance humanity and a lot of technology, including “smart”phones that are really dumbphones and weapons of destruction regress, instead of advance, humanity. In fact, such technology is often promoted to dumb down humanity and to deliberately weaken our minds. Today, I discuss the many ways we can focus on strengthening our minds to improve individually and to strengthen our communities to improve our environment. The solutions are there, but we are increasingly be led away from them.

The TPTB’s Manufactured Anger is a Ploy to Divide and Conquer: The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_001

In SKWealthAcademy Podcast Episode_001, we discuss the harm on humanity committed by those in media and those that fund mainstream media when they attempt to funnel everyone into taking a side on every narrative, whether political, entertainment-related (sports and film), philosophical, or  business. Combined with the desire of Google’s Eric Schmidt to only return one “correct” answer to every question (which is not OUR answer but THEIR answer they want all of us to blindly obey and believe), the attempt to fan the fires on every single issue has had the desired effect of dividing and conquering us, keeping us blind to reality and to solutions, and keeping us instead, focused on conflict.

If you listen to this podcast and agree, please pass it on to others so we can stop the divide and conquer policies of those that head institutions like Google, YouTube, and mass media, and instead turn the tide of humanity away from these falsely manufactured conflicts and towards harmony and cooperation.

Billionare AI Hell or Commoner Red Pill Bliss? The Choice is Ours – The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast_001A

In today’s podcast, I discuss Silicon Valley and ex-Google executive Anthony Levandowski’s desire to create an Artificial Intelligence god and for humanity to worship his AI god while granting it absolute power over decisions regarding the future of humanity. I discuss why this is not a good idea given society’s current tendencies to drift beyond the line of morality due to its obsessions with celebrity, fame, and fortune. I also discuss the narcissism of billionaires and why they currently have wrongly led society astray with their warped definitions of “success” and non-intellectual definitions of “intelligence” and discuss why both these definitions need to include a significant component of emotional intellect to ensure that all human creation and pursuits benefit our communities and mother earth, rather than just benefiting the selfish needs of the individual at the expense of the rest of humanity. I also discuss the need to escape the confining limitations to our potential created by narcissistic billionaires that have created (1) false paradigms of schooling that do not promote critical thought or education, and (2) falsely-labelled “social media” worlds that create anti-social, anxiety-ridden young adults. I conclude this podcast with a discussion of the need to escape and live outside of these pre-engineered societal constructs into which all of us are born if we wish to realize our creative potential to create a world in which love, compassion, and respect for all life, including nature, prevails, and one in which a beautiful life is not a privilege for the 1% but a human right for all.

Introduction to The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast

Allow me to introduce the essence of The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast. My podcast is focused on breaking out of the artificially engineered constructs of society designed to dumb us down, such as institutional academics, strict career paths, and chasing after superficial constructs such as fame and fortune instead of sustainable constructs of far more substance such as happiness, inner peace, friendships and humanitarian activities. Please take a listen to this 6-minute and change introduction and subscribe if you find it mysterious, curiosity-inducing and intriguing!
